Refund Policy

Dracxi Hosting aims to be fair and transparent with refunds, while complying with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under New Zealand consumer protection law.

1. Service Fees

Due to the nature of digital services:

  • All setup fees are non-refundable
  • Used service time is non-refundable

2. Consumer Guarantees Act Rights

Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, services must:

  • Be provided with reasonable care and skill
  • Be fit for the particular purpose you told us about
  • Be completed within a reasonable time

If we fail to meet these guarantees, you may be entitled to remedies including refunds.

3. Standard Refund Eligibility

Subject to your Consumer Guarantees Act rights, refunds may be considered if:

  • The service failed to provision correctly due to our error
  • A technical fault on our end prevented service delivery
  • The service does not match the description provided at time of purchase

Refund requests should be made within a reasonable timeframe, preferably within 7 days of discovering the issue.

4. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will generally not be issued for:

  • User error, misconfiguration, or lack of technical knowledge
  • Breach of our Terms of Service
  • Change of mind after services have been delivered and consumed
  • Account suspensions or terminations due to abuse or policy violations

However, your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act still apply.

5. Processing Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval.

Actual processing time may depend on your payment provider.

6. Disputes Resolution

If you are not satisfied with our refund decision, you may refer the matter to Disputes Tribunals or seek advice from the Commerce Commission.
